Nadia & Benjamin’s - The Chimney House, Sheffield Wedding

The Chimney House in Sheffield is the perfect backdrop to this wedding.

I arrived at Nadia’s parents gorgeous home in Sheffield with a wave of excitement! It was my first wedding of 2025 and the sun was shining for us after a very chilly start to March!

Nadia was doing her own make-up when I arrived and her mum was ironing her wedding dress! I knew straight away this day was going to be relaxed and just effortless.

I took some time to photograph Nadia’s simple but stunning gown by Nobody’s Child and took some detail shots, including their wedding rings, made by Amy at Stringer Designs. They were just Devine! Nadia made her own bouquet and wore baby blue patent shoes, which looked show stopping with her calf length gown!

After an emotional reveal to Nadia’s parents and her friends at the foot of her stairs, we headed out to a vintage camper van waiting out front.

It was my first time shooting a wedding at Kelham Island, when I saw The Chimney House, it exceeded all my expectations. I just fell in love straight away! ……

The sun beamed across the building, down the canal and I just loved the architecture and surroundings in this industrial spot in this beautiful Yorkshire city.

The ceremony

The ceremony room was candle lit, full of plants and natural light. The exposed brick work and traditional furnishings just made my heart sing.

Ben greeted me with a warm smile and a big hug. I was already in love with this gorgeous couple.

Ben and Nadia were surrounded by their friends and family whilst they said their vows. Their parents occupied the front row, with smiles from ear to ear, holding hands and taking it all in.

I got beautiful photos from the front and my second shooter Joe had the rear of the room covered too! It’s great having the two of us to capture different elements of the day.

Confetti, fizz and candids followed in the street beside the venue. This couple were fun, viby and the camera loved them!

After the ceremony

Guests made their way to The Mowbray.

Ben, Nadia and I went for a walk and stopped at The Fat Cat pub for a pint of Guinness!

Couples portraits were effortless as we walked and talked together. Nadia and Ben were just laughing and enjoying the time together after saying their I do’s!

After a gorgeous entrance and reception drinks, speeches began and everyone sat at candle lit, banquet tables in awe, listening to heartfelt and funny speeches. Laughter and emotions were flowing, along with a few cocktails!

After food, we ventured to the roof garden of the Mowbray, where guests continued drinking cocktails and Ben and the boys were on the shots! I felt such a connection between Nadia & Ben’s friends and family. They clearly were a very much loved pair who oozed character and were so personable.

Flashy cake cutting and dance floor shots happened next. This gorgeous space is dark and moody in the evening and guests certainly knew how to have a good time here! Letting their hair down and enjoying expressing themselves. That’s what dance floors are for right?

Stunning day, gorgeous couple, beautiful venues. My heart is full.
